I made one of the best fucking decisions of my life(more recent) life when I decided to drop out of the bullshit. I feel so much better now. I have been accused by some (well, my near-divergent brother who will remain nameless) of being a phoney hippy. For not caring. Then another brother, who will also remain nameless dropped this gem on me:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I can tell you it is tough in this day and age to drop out of the never-fucking-ending stream of bullshit that is being thrown at us at an ever-increasing rate. But I have trained myself to skip the bullshit and focus on better things like puppy dogs and penguins dressed up in clothing.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At my doctor’s appointment recently, 0n checking out I was given a rather unimpressive copy of a copy of a copy (etc.) of form that required me to write down my medicare number and sign that I was indeed who I said I was<\/em>. The young woman then asked if I wanted her to look up my medicare number. I almost burst out laughing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I asked if this were part of the hoo-ha of our duly-elected government’s shit show<\/strong>. The answer was affirmative. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then I got mad<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I just finished watching Mr. Robot, a fantastic television series from the mid-2010s about hacking a huge corporation that is now controlling the world, led by a secretive cartel of the world’s billionaires. It sounds entirely familiar. <\/p>\n\n\n
