Cozumel – 1983
My first trip overseas was in a private plane my Dad flew to the Bahamas. I remember looking in awe at the power plant across the water all night. This image was later realized in Jimmy Buffet’s tune Mañana:

Funny, the things I remember. Anyway, I have visited and done some diving several times since on vacation.
I have visited Jamaica, the Bahamas, Grand Cayman, Turks and Caicos, Bonaire, Honduras, Belize, Nevis, and Mexico. The romantic lure of the islands still has me in its grips 🌴.
