Convair Cove
This picture shows our house across the canal at the end of the first street with our boat Argo in the back. If you look closely at the picture, you can see Mom and the three of us by the palm tree near the corner of our lot. The big house was owned by McNabb, who led Convair’s launch team and was my dad’s boss. The development is the first subdivision built in Cocoa Beach by Convair and was aptly named Convair Cove. All the streets were named after Convair bigwigs at the time.
