This test was similar to a GVT but only done with the engine and strut. The engine is attached to what’s called a strong-back – essentially a vertical ‘ground’. You can see a electromagnetic shaker on the gray stand in the right of the picture. One the left at the base is all of our test equipment. The light green machine was a piece of hardware built by HP.
