Jake & Eddie ~ Winter Solstice 2025

By the start of 2022 I pretty much had V4 of Tubridy.net established. Here’s what has happened since.

My incredibly photogenic grand niece Georgie and nephew Theo! Clan Tubridy Treasures!

Second New Glenn launch from Pad 46 at the Cape. This is where Dad worked in the 1950s on the first Atlas launches. The roar of this large rocket comes close to what I remember from the Saturn V days.

Aftermath of the freeze. Over the next couple of months, most of the plants died back significantly, if not dead as a doornail! My failed mango project from 2020 mercifully was one of those. I have a lot of work ahead to turn all the dead bamboo into walls for the patio!

By May 2026, five people had tragically lost their lives to drowning in our beach town so far this year. This alarming increase in fatalities happens at a time of a unprecedented influx of tourists seeking to escape the weight of their cumbersome wads of cash.

Tragically, two of these victims were at our slice of paradise a block away, where I once watched the rockets launch as a child. The growing number of people, who seem indifferent to the power of Mother Ocean, has exacerbated the situation. Moreover, the serious impact of coastline restoration has resulted in an unnatural coastline that amplifies the effects of rip tidesβ€”the primary cause of these tragic incidents.

These used to be at every beach cross over until people started drowning and some idiots egos got bruised.

To ensure that this unfortunate event occurred in perfect harmony with the ever-increasing tide of absurdity, a lawsuit was filed against beach safety devices. These devices, which were promptly removed due to bruised egos, were the intended solution to prevent such tragedies.
