The freeze this year took a toll on the plants at Valhalla. I was particularly worried about two plants that were cuttings from a plant my Mom gave me when I was in school in California in the late 1970s. I have kept them with me and planted them at Valhalla several years ago. They thrived there until the freeze. I was worried they might not survive. However, they came back quicker than anything else and are as hearty as before. I made this plaque as a testimony to my mother. She loved being in her garden!
